-
- i know that, but i didn't mean algorithmic operations that must be done by the CPU, i meant the actual
- graphics rendering operations. these can be done very nicely even with an unaccelerated A1200. show me a
- peecee that can scroll around 2 8-bit images on the screen, doing mid-screen palette tricks, and produces
- incredible sound while doing so and i'll give ya a million $$$ ;) all these operations are done with very
- little CPU intervention unlike a fucken peecee. i have a P120 with whatever you want to put inside and it
- still doesn't cut it when it comes to entertainment as it is on the Amiga. my accelerated A1200 makes
- this pentium look like it came from the dark ages in comparison.

-
- granted, the pc gfx cards dominate (today) the market and yes they have better resolutions and they're
- faster but, can they do Animation better than an AGA machine, hell no. the Amiga as a whole system is
- simply better than any pc. true, the Amiga lacks raw CPU power, but that's all. its graphics presentation
- are more appealing to any user than the pc ones. try scroll some stupid text in a Windows window and see
- the poor quality. the pc's stink, that's about it, i bought my pc 2 months ago only because the amiga's
- software market is dead but still not buried.

- faster CPU+Amiga gfx hardware == better quality.
- ask any baby and he'll tell you that playing a game with an amiga is by no means comparable to playing to
- the pc. i tried running a simply game (sherlock holmes) on a pc and it wouldn't run cuz there were 'ONLY'
- 8 megs in the system. with 8 megs the amiga can do much more than a pc that's for sure.
